- You understand how metadata is different from normal "data", and
- You understand how metadata can be used.
The purpose of your discussions is for you to show that:
- You have the willingness to share what you have learnt with others,
- You have the capability to listen and learn from what others are describing, and
- You can relate what others are saying to what you know.
Some guidelines
In some cases, you may not have the knowledge or experience to understand everything you read. You should concentrate on extracting what you CAN understand, rather than being worried about what you CANNOT understand. This is a very important skill in living in a constantly-evolving, information-intensive field like Internet Science and Technology.
Requirements for completing the exercise is described in the guidelines to tutorial assessment.
