Reflections
In the ambience of the lambent moon,
Under the lights of the twinkling stars -
Somehow,
Somewhere,
Someone shares my thoughts.
Beneath the branches of the blossoming trees,
Along the path disappearing in twilight -
Cherishing
The warmth
Of the arms wrapped around me.
Drowning
In the aroma of the dim-lit café,
Lavishing in the flourish of the bright street corner -
Seduced
By the voice
Softly whispering in my ear.
Musing
Over the illuminant crystal waters,
Shining upon the seagulls perched on the pier -
Oblivious
To the anguish
Of the day gone past.
Reflections
In the tranquility of the nocturnal air,
Filled with anticipation of the coming dawn -
Immersed
In the illusion
Of she who loves me.
