Activities
The organization is an environmental action group. They arrange environmental awareness talks and seminars for their members and for the public, education forums, community-based activities, campaigns, and fund-raising events.
IT Infrastructure Expenditure
2001 (Forecast): A$1,500
The group's computing equipment is donated by another sponsoring organization. The machine housing the group's web server is a standard 733MHz 64Mb 4Gb PC residing in the sponsoring organization's machine room, and is connected to the a 100Mbps LAN. The organization has very limited budget and considers near-term upgrades to their computing facilities a low priority. The sponsoring organization have offered to give technical support using their own staff, but no more than the 0.2 full-time-equivalent (FTE), ie. one person for the combined total of one working day, or 8-hours, per week.
