TELSTRA'S broadband internet users are outraged over new pricing plans, which charge almost $200 per additional gigabyte on the 3GB service.
Telstra introduced a 3GB download limit for its BigPond cable and ADSL plans in June, but this has not been enforced for several months. Under the new 3GB plans, cable users would pay 17.5c per additional megabyte - or $179.20 for each additional gigabyte. ADSL users would pay 18.9c or $193.53 per gigabyte.
