Learning Objectives
The learning objectives for students enrolled in this unit are:
- Understand Technologies: To understand in detail the technical workings of key Internet and web technologies, specifically web communications (HTTP clients and servers), web application programming, and XML technologies.
- Write Software: Be able to write software that drives the technologies in (1).
- Construct Solutions: Understand the basic requirements needed to construct Internet solutions for organisations and enterprises.
- Self-Learning: Develop skills in self-learning, communications, research, trial-and-error, etc to derive Internet solutions.
To score highly in assessments (assignments and the exam) for this unit, you should strive to show evidence of meeting these objectives.
